Purpose of the Application

Obelisk is a private automation tool designed to facilitate secure data synchronization and disaster recovery for personal server environments. It allows users to backup local configuration files and media data to Google Drive using the rclone framework.

How we use your data

Obelisk requests the auth/drive scope to perform the following:

Create and Upload: To move backup archives from the local server to your cloud storage.
Sync: To ensure remote files match local versions for data integrity.
Recover: To allow for the restoration of server settings in the event of hardware failure.

Data is transferred directly from your server to Google. We do not store your data on third-party servers, nor do we share it with anyone.
